On 29 July 2021, we celebrated Project Armonia’s second birthday.
Serving over 270,000 meals and working with more than 150 volunteers from a total of 36 nationalities, the last two years have been more than we could have expected.
The past year on the island has been a turbulent time. Not only have they been challenging and unpredictable due to the pandemic, but also as a result of numerous other crises.
Over the past twelve months we have stood in solidarity with refugees and the local community, facing multiple fires in camp, wildfires on the island, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake and a tsunami, to name but a few.
Food is a basic human right, and we have done our utmost this year to ensure that those who are most in need have access to healthy, nutritious and delicious food.
